They’ve lived an eclectic life, with many years spent on a boat – this, perhaps, accounts for the sense of order beneath Dovehouse Street Studio’s razzmatazz. He’s an architect, while she’s an interior designer, and they’ve brought all their skills to bear on creating their flamboyant London home.NightlifeDovehouse Street Studio is at its best after dark, when the lights in the kitchen and around the fireplace glow blue, green and pink, their gleams reflected in the mirrored surfaces all around. Dovehouse Street Studio may not be huge, but it more than makes up for its petite proportions with its sense of fun, this is a home that you can truly enjoy. You’ve a large desk complete with a pony skin chair, a colourful sofa bed, and a beautiful traditional fireplace with a working gas fire.The sleeping area is set a little apart from the rest of the studio, on a raised platform, and we must admit to a dreadful jealousy of the antlered bedside table. Next door, you’ve a modern bathroom with a power shower. But, before you turn in for the night, open the doors onto your courtyard garden, where you’ll find a water feature, a brightly tiled seating area worthy of Gaudi, and more of those gorgeously pretty lights.
